Snowspeeder is a vehicle from the Star Wars universe that first appeared on the cinema screen in the 1980 film “The Empire Strikes Back”. Snowspeeder, sometimes called a snow hunter in Polish, is, of course, a vehicle used by the Rebel Alliance. It was created at the Rebel forces base on Hoth by modernising the T-47 Airspeeder and adapting it to the climatic conditions of Hoth. The length of this vehicle can be assumed to be approximately 5.3 metres. It is worth mentioning that the snowspeeder is a two-seater vehicle and its crew consists of a pilot and a rear gunner. Its weapons are mainly light laser weapons, but also ropes and magnetic harpoons dedicated to paralyse the movements of the Empire’s walking machines, especially AT-ATs. Vehicles of this type took a very active part in the Battle of Hoth, demonstrating considerable combat utility.
