Mercedes-Benz W31 Type G4 is a German passenger car from the interwar period and World War II. The first copies of this car appeared in 1934 and serial production continued in 1934-1939. In total, only about 60 cars of this type were built. The drive was provided - in the first production series - by a single 8-cylinder engine with 100 hp.

Mercedes-Benz W31 Type G4 was a German luxury limousine which was a development of the G1 model. The car provided - for those times - a very high comfort of traveling, it also allowed to carry up to 7-9 people. In 1937 and 1938, new 110 and 115 HP engines were used as power units, but this did not change the marking of the car. The Mercedes-Benz W31 Type G4 was used primarily by high-ranking SS officials and Nazi dignitaries, including Adolf Hitler. Small amounts of them also ended up in the German armed forces as official limousines of the highest officers of the Wehrmacht. It is assumed that only 3 cars of this type have survived to this day.
